Botox has become routine enough that people book it the way they book a haircut. It is still a prescription medical treatment, and the single biggest determinant of whether you like your result is who is holding the syringe.
Anti-wrinkle injections temporarily relax the muscles that create expression lines, softening them rather than filling them. Results appear over several days and typically last a few months before the effect gradually wears off. At ASN Aesthetics, injectable treatments run from PKR 25,000 to PKR 60,000, with the range reflecting product grade and the area treated.
What it does, and what it does not
Botulinum toxin works on dynamic lines — the ones that appear when you move your face, such as frown lines and crow's feet. It reduces the muscle contraction that creates them.
It does not fill volume. Lines that are visible when your face is completely still are usually a job for fillers or another treatment entirely, not for anti-wrinkle injections.
This distinction is the most common source of disappointment. Being clear about which type of line you actually want treated is the most useful thing you can do before a consultation.
How long it lasts
The effect is temporary. It builds over several days after treatment, holds for a few months, then gradually fades as muscle movement returns.
How long it lasts varies from person to person, and is influenced by dose, the area treated and individual metabolism. Nobody can promise you a precise number of months.
Why the price varies so much
Product grade is the main driver. At ASN Aesthetics, Chinese, Korean and American grade products are available and priced accordingly, which is why the range runs from PKR 25,000 to PKR 60,000.
The area treated matters too: a single small area costs less than a full upper face.
A price far below the market usually means either a heavily diluted product or an inexperienced injector. Both show up in the result.
Questions worth asking before you book
Who is injecting — a doctor, or a technician? At ASN Aesthetics, Dr Ahsan administers injectables himself rather than delegating them.
Which product and grade is being used, and what does that cost?
What happens if you are not happy, and is a review appointment included?
A clinic that answers these plainly is telling you something useful about how it operates.
